SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Representative Charlie Meier today announced the adoption of House Resolution 637, recognizing Blake Twenhafel for his outstanding achievement in agriculture and leadership.
House Resolution 637 congratulates Twenhafel on being named the 2025 American Star in Agribusiness, one of the highest honors awarded by the National FFA Organization, and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
“Blake Twenhafel represents the very best of Illinois agriculture and the next generation of leaders in our rural communities,” said Rep. Meier. “Earning the American Star in Agribusiness is an extraordinary accomplishment that reflects years of hard work, innovation, and dedication.”
The American Star in Agribusiness award recognizes exceptional FFA members who demonstrate outstanding achievement in agricultural business through entrepreneurship, management, and leadership.
Rep. Meier also recognized Twenhafel’s recent service in the Illinois House.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Blake to the Capitol as my Page for a Day,” Meier added. “He brought energy, professionalism, and a genuine interest in public service. I thank him for his time and contributions, and I know he has a very bright future ahead.”
