Last Friday was AG Day at the IL State Fair.
Agriculture Day at the Illinois State Fair brings Illinoisans together to acknowledge agriculture. This is an opportunity to appreciate the work in the fields, classrooms, and agribusiness across the state.
Illinois State Representative and generational farmer Charlie Meier attended Ag Day this year. He noted that last year’s Ag Day was cancelled due to weather and was appreciative of the cooler temps this year.
“I attended the breakfast and visited with several 4H kids from the district,” said Rep. Meier. “I love going to Ag Day and seeing folks from my district in their element in Springfield.”
