Chris L. Cox, Hoyleton Ministries President and CEO, announced State Representative Charlie Meier of the Illinois 108th District, has been selected as the recipient of the Partner in Advocacy for 2014.
The Partner in Advocacy award, presented on behalf of Hoyleton Ministries, is given to an individual or group that demonstrates a willingness to provide a voice for people whose voices have not been heard. Representative Meier is a dedicated advocate for children and families.
Since being elected in 2013, Representative Meier has consistently worked for the care of individuals with developmental disabilities. Hoyleton Ministries mission statement begins “we seek to enable all people, young and old alike, to realize the wholeness of life.” Hoyleton believes that Representative Meier, through both his spirit and action, embodies the Hoyleton Ministries mission of helping all people realize the wholeness of life that God intends.
Charlie’s record proves his ability to partner with businesses, direct social services and lead community initiatives.
