State Representative Charlie Meier (R-Okawville) issued the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, to leave it up to the states to decide whether or not to make abortion illegal:
“Today’s ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court is a victory for the unborn. I support the decision by our nation’s highest court to let the states decide. I will always fight to protect the rights of the unborn.”
