Landan Carper from Saint Jacob served as Rep. Charlie Meier’s Page for the Day in the Illinois House of Representatives.
“It is refreshing to see young people like Landan have an interest in government,” said Rep. Charlie Meier. “It was an honor to have him around and show him around the Capitol. He is going to go on to do great things!”
Landan Carper recently graduated from Triad High School in Troy with a 3.9 GPA and will attend McKendree University this fall. He was a member of the National Honors Society, Model UN, Trap Shooting Team, Scholar Bowl, was Treasurer of the Leo Club and is President of the Alpha Club.
He plans to attend McKendree University this fall to study Political Science and Pre-Law.
