House Bill 4471 is a de facto ban on Glock pistols in Illinois. Glock switches are already illegal and criminals don’t follow existing gun laws anyway. Banning the sale of Glocks will do nothing to stop violent crime.
Unfortunately, the Democrats’ Glock ban has resurfaced and will likely be put to a vote in the House Gun Violence Prevention Committee tomorrow (Wednesday, May 20) at 2 pm.
We need to STOP this ban against our Constitutional Rights. I encourage all Second Amendment supporters to make your voices heard by filing witness slips in opposition to HB 4471. You can create and file a witness slip against HB 4471 at the link below.
