Rep. Meier Working to Protect Jobs for Workers with Disabilities

Rep. Meier shares his concerns about legislation pending in the Illinois House of Representatives (HB 793) that would put at least 50% of 14c workshop employees with developmental and intellectual disabilities and service providers out of work throughout the state. This number comes from providers who have ended their 14(c) certificate, some laid off 70% to 80%.
